NMS Rhythm Kings

The Neighborhood Music School Rhythm Kings got started in the fall of 2014 with some former members of the "Rt. 17 Stompers" and various new members who were willing to give our kind of music a try. The group was pretty thin at times, but by June of 2015 it had become an enthusiastic and respectable young ensemble. We performed in a couple of Jazz Department Recitals at the Neighborhood Music School, but our first outside appearance was on June 7 (2015) in Butch Butterworth's barn at the Giant Valley Farm in Hamden.
