GJB 5/29/88 (Fred Vigorito & the GJB with Sammy Rimington & Joel Helleny) (now reissued) is a live recording from the Millpond Taverne archives. Our guests at that performance were trombone wizard Joel Helleny and the one and only Sammy Rimington on reeds and vocals, David Paquette on piano & vocals, along with Noel Kaletsky and the rest of the GJB. Tom Baker happened to be visiting from Australia on that occasion, and sits in for a couple of tunes. The title an front cover photo on this CD feature Fred Vigorito because it was produced originally for sale in France, where Fred is a big international jazz star.
